The OMCOS Banquet is the opportunity to sit back, enjoy great food, a beverage and connect with new friends and old. Let’s get together to celebrate our community, and the global science and network that is OMCOS.
The OMCOS Banquet is not included in the registration cost and tickets must be purchased. Tickets for this Banquet can be booked though the registration process.

- Pick up from Conference Venue: 12:40pm (Busses depart at 12:50pm)
- Transit: 8-12 mins
- Boarding time: 1:15pm-1:30pm (Cruise departs 1:45pm)
- Cruise time: 1:45pm-4:30pm
Enjoy a complimentary shuttle from the conference hotel to the cruise loading dock. Please note, transportation back to the hotel is NOT included- though I’m sure you won’t mind enjoying Honda Celebration of Light Festival at your own leisure!

Honda Celebration of Light is the world’s longest-running off-shore fireworks competition. The event welcomes over a million attendees annually during three spectacular days and nights of fireworks over English Bay, and is BC’s largest live event. Offering up an experience for every age and appetite, the Honda Celebration of Light hosts a number of ticketed venues for attendees to enjoy.

There are two ways that you can listen live to the music simulcast of each fireworks performance.
Bring a Radio – With a portable radio, you can tune into CMFI Rock 101 and listen to the live stream at any time, from anywhere!
Online Stream – Listen live through our radio partners’ web page. You will need to use data or a wifi connection (Disclaimer: with the high level of fireworks fans near the water, connectivity close to the festival can be limited based on your mobile provider.)
